The factory was organized in 1965 on the basis of Stavropol Radio Engineering Factory. It belonged to the Ministry of Electronic Iindustry of the USSR. Its first name was Stavropol Transformer Factory Izumrud.
In 1993 the factory was incorporated and reorganized into Factory Izumrud JSC. Since 2000 it has been a branch establishment of the Concern Energomera. In 2003 Izumrud JSC was renamed into Electrotechnical Factory Energomera JSC by the stockholders' meeting decision.

The area of industrial and auxiliary facilities - 31500 m ²
Ground area - 6,7 ha.

Profile

The factory was established with the purpose of production of microtransformers for special equipment.
In 2000 Concern Energomera passed to the factory 29 models and more than 280 versions of multifunctional residential power supply switchboards, earth leakage circuit breakers and electrochemical protection equipment.

Products:

		Equipment for electrochemical corrosion protection of underground metalware. Equipment for effective protection of underground metalware, in zones with high soil dampness and acidity, and in circulating current zones.

		Metering-and-distribution devices of residential use Distribution and metering of electricity, protection of outgoing lines against overloads, short circuits and intolerable ground leakage currents.

		Earth leakage circuit breakers Effective means of electric shock protection, at accidental touching current-carrying components under tension. Protection of circuit against overloads and short circuits. They increase fire safety, at overcurrents and intolerable ground leakage currents.

		Functional radio relay centers Microtransformers, throttles.

		Consumer goods Disk accumulators and common lamps on their base, mosquito liquidating devices, products made out of plastic.

		Standard analytical balance Portable analytical balance of 4-th grade, NPO-5 kg-4M. Designed for testing weights of 5-th and 6-th class in accordance with the GOST 7328-82 Weights. General Specifications. Are placed in the portable housing.
