The factory was put into operation in June 1972. It belonged to the USSR Ministry for Instrument-Making Industry, Automatization Equipment and Control Systems.
The factory has been established for production of electrical-type devices, indicators of recording level, digital voltmeters, computerized numerical controllers (CNC).
The first name was — Nevinnomissk Measurement Equipment Factory (MEF), and than — Nevinnomissk Industrial Association Kvant.
The factory was incorporated in 1992. Since 1994 to 1995 it was a dependent factory, and since 1995 it has been a branch establishment of the Concern. In 2002 Nevinnomissk production company (NPC) Kvant was renamed into Measurement Equipment Factory Energomera by the decision of stockholders' meeting.

In November 2003 the factory was affiliated with Concern Energomera JSC.

The area of industrial and auxiliary facilities - 45200 m²
Ground area - 8,2 ha.

Profile

Since 1992 the Concern developed and put into serial production more than 35 models and more than 1200 versions of electricity metering, metrological and verification equipment, thus satisfying Russian and foreign standards.

Products:

		Electricity meters for common purpose Active and reactive energy meters, accuracy class - 0,2 to 2,0. One-phase and three-phase, direct and transformer connection type. One or two tariffs, one or two metering directions.

		Electricity meters for special purpose Multifunctional and multirate highly precise meters with possibility of automatic data procession.

		Verification (Calibration) sets Standard electricity meters. Automatic verification devices. Facilities for repair and maintenance of electricity metering equipment.
