It is no wonder that electricity meters produced by the Concern “Energomera” are widely used in Russian energy field. Their designers and producers always tried to keep up with the times and offered the customers metering devices that solve different problems of power industry.
Having begun with production of simple single-phase and three-phase electronic electricity meters, the company constantly develops the devices and widens their range. Consumers’ wishes and remarks are main orienting points for the designers. So, there appeared such devices as meters with current shunt or two measuring elements, models for multi-rate metering and microprocessor multi-purpose devices, and the list may go on and on. The Concern can rightfully be proud that today the fifth generation of metering devices is already being produced, and this result has been achieved for less than fifteen years.
New model line designed in full compliance with the last requirements of Russian and international standards took over all advantages of the previous metering devices line. Well-established meters are exchanged by their modern equivalents with wider range of functional capabilities. Special component parts and advanced schematic technologies let the Concern create truly unique model line of metering devices. Information concerning correspondence between the fifth generation meters and the models of the previous line is presented in tables 1 and 2.

Both design base and case modifications of the devices underwent the changes which provide meters easy service and safety maintenance. Not only new CE line, devices but also highly demanded models of the previous generation CE6803V, CE6804, CE6807P meters are supposed to be produced in new cases.

All Concern’s meters in modern case modification can be used in different AMR systems. They are equipped with standard optical and telemetric outputs for this purpose. There are also models with EIA485 digital interface, Ir-port or optical interface, PLC- or radiomodem.
Constant consumers know that when they buy a Concern’s meter they get reliable device, guaranteeing accurate and valid energy metering. Now safety maintenance, easy mounting and high case strength can be added to these qualities. And, certainly, ergonomic design: this requirement is also taken into account while creating new case modifications for the fifth generation meters.
