Designed for application as a part of cathodic anticorrosion systems for underground metalware (gas- and pipelines, Housing and utility infrastructures and other constructions). Considerably increases effectiveness and reliability of underground metalware cathodic protection. 100% backing up and usage of two converters: main and back-up.

- Simultaneous connection of two converters for cathodic protection, main and back-up, having the following parameters:
- nominal supply voltage, alternating, single-phase, 220V, with permissible limits (176…242)V;
- current, supplied by each converter for cathodic protection from the supply main: up to 32A;
- converter for cathodic protection output voltage range: up to 100V;
- full output current of each converter for cathodic protection: up to 100A.
- Connection of main and back-up converter for cathodic protection to two separate feedlines of single-phase industrial network of 220V, frequency 50 Hz (power supply class - 1).
- Allows connection of main and back-up converter for cathodic protection to one feedline of single-phase industrial network of 220V, frequency 50 Hz.
- Provides output current flow of the operating converter for cathodic protection into load.
- Provides "cold" condition of the back up converter for cathodic protection.
- At supply voltage failure (occurrence) on the main feedline, time of switching to the main (back-up) converter for cathodic protection is 4…6s.
- If supply voltage on the main (back-up)* feedline overruns 170…250V, the main (back up)* converter for cathodic protection disconnects from the power line within 4…6s.
* - if the back-up converter for cathodic protection was in operation mode.
- In the presence of power supply voltage on the main feedline and dump of output voltage of the main converter for cathodic protection, the time of switch to the back-up converter for cathodic protection is 50…60s.
- In the presence of power supply voltage on the main and back-up feedlines and series output voltage dump across the main and back-up converter for cathodic protection, at 20…30 min intervals reclosing of the main converter for cathodic protection is carried out. If the output voltage of the main converter for cathodic protection is absent, in 50…60s switching to the back-up converter for cathodic protection is carried out.
