Electrodes are designed for formation and drive of
constant stable electrolytic contact with earth when potential measuring of protected underground metal facilities against earth (potential “pipe - earth”), for commercial application in electrochemical (cathode) protection systems of underground metal facilities against electrochemical (underground) corrosion.

- Electrodes are equipped with 2 membranes: - internal – polymeric ion-exchanging (cationic); - external – ceramic with standardized porocity;
- Potential sensor is installed on the electrodes external side surface (auxiliary electrode), composed of steel plate with dimensions 25 x 25 mm, square 625 mm2. Potential sensor working surface is plate one (external) side.
- Electrodes case is filled with electrolyte, consisted of saturated solution of bluestone in distilled water (CuSO4•5H2O)
- Connecting cable screened braid protects conductors from electric field harmful effect caused by anode grounding and earth currents
- Cable is fixed mechanically safely to the electrode case.
